THE SHORTY is a high-performance Longboard SUP that has evolved from constant development.

Designed to have amazing glide, but feel incredibly nimble from the tail, and super solid when you are hanging toes. This is the latest evolution in Longboard SUP design. 

With a narrower nose, straight midsection, and aggressive hip, this board is crazy responsive for its size, yet still very user-friendly.

The sup hut says " Having seen these boards in the factory in Thailand and having ridden a smaller shorter model . The 11'0 Shorty will suit the heavier rider looking for that King of the Bay feeling, catching all waves but having performance from the updated shape.

If you choose this board as a flat water paddler , it will not disappoint. A great parallel outline will facilitate a really nice gliding board. Sit the kids on the nose and take it for a sweep down the coast.  Finished in the most glorious Paulownia wood which, as well as looking amazing, is also very good at helping impacts."

Snappy turns in the pocket, easy cutbacks, nose rides.

PADDLE POWER:

SPEED: Amazing speed, you’ll catch plenty of waves.

DIRECTIONAL CONTROL: The length means you track nice and straight while paddling but the rocker allows re-direct nicely on the wave.

OVER WHITE WATER: Decent up and over white water.

WAVE CATCHING ABILITY: As mentioned earlier it’ll catch just about anything.

WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF WHEN YOU DESIGNED IT?:

This board is an Evolution of many of our longboard SUP designs, it came about due to the ever growing Longboard SUP community with 10ft plus, and 9ft plus divisions at events like the LSR in Bali, and their demand for boards that can do it all. 

Scream down the face on double overhead bombs with control, hang toes with ease, redirect in the pocket and deliver clean roundhouses. Or surf knee high slop, whatever conditions you’ve got. 

WHAT IT POSSIBLY COMPROMISES ON THEN?:

Being a longer board means it can nosedive in steeper waves if you are going off the top, but generally, it is a great all round performer.

We use Royal Mail for small items and TNT for larger items which require a signature at time of arrival.

What do our Stock Statuses mean?

In Stock - In Store = Available to buy now & collect in store or buy online now for delivery.

In Stock - Storage Hub = These items are in stock in Swansea although stored in a third party Storage Hub. Items can be collected from the Storage Hub Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm. If you require items to be collected from our store you may want to call us to check when we can collect these for you.

In Stock - To Order = Available but allow an additional 3-5 days for delivery or collection.

Pre-Order = This product needs to be ordered from our supplier and will only be ordered once a pre order is made. Or we've made an order from our supplier and stock is due to arrive at some date in the future, this date will be communicated where possible on product the page.

Out Of Stock = This product is no longer available, or we are waiting for a confirmed date for when new stock will arrive.
