Experience the unique sensation of SUP foiling in a calm, controlled environment. Our Flat Water Paddle-Up SUP Foil Course is designed to help you develop the essential skills needed to lift onto the foil confidently and safely, without the distraction of waves or challenging water conditions.

Based in Swansea, South Wales, our coaching focuses on building solid fundamentals that will accelerate your progress and give you the confidence to continue your foiling journey.

Who Is This Course For?

This course is ideal for:

• Confident paddleboarders looking to take the next step into foiling.
• Intermediate paddlers wanting to improve their paddle technique and balance.
• Watersports enthusiasts interested in learning a completely new discipline.
• Riders preparing for downwind, open water or surf foiling in the future.

Previous foiling experience is not required, but participants should be comfortable paddling a stand-up paddleboard at a pace. You'll need some Power to get flying , on average you will need to paddle at 6-8mph .

For example:

• A 70 kg rider on a 1600 cm² foil may lift at around 5-7mph
• A 95 kg rider on the same foil may need 6.5-8mph or a larger wing.

 

What You'll Learn

Throughout the session you'll develop the key skills required for successful paddle-up foiling, including:

• Equipment setup and safety.
• Understanding foil lift and stability.
• Efficient paddle technique for acceleration.
• Correct stance and body positioning.
• Board trim and weight distribution.
• Controlled take-offs and sustained flights.
• Safe touchdowns and recovery.
• Turning, speed control and efficient paddling.
• We use foils of 2000cm +

Every session is tailored to your current ability, allowing you to progress at a pace that suits you.

age range : Riders should be minimum of 15

Flat water provides the perfect environment for learning because it allows you to focus entirely on technique without the unpredictability of waves or surf.

The shipping / postage of your item(s) will be automatically calculated based on weight/size. (in some cases ie Highlands of Scotland, there may be an additional surcharge)

We use Royal Mail for small items and TNT for larger items which require a signature at time of arrival.

What do our Stock Statuses mean?

In Stock - In Store = Available to buy now & collect in store or buy online now for delivery.

In Stock - Storage Hub = These items are in stock in Swansea although stored in a third party Storage Hub. Items can be collected from the Storage Hub Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm. If you require items to be collected from our store you may want to call us to check when we can collect these for you.

In Stock - To Order = Available but allow an additional 3-5 days for delivery or collection.

Pre-Order = This product needs to be ordered from our supplier and will only be ordered once a pre order is made. Or we've made an order from our supplier and stock is due to arrive at some date in the future, this date will be communicated where possible on product the page.

Out Of Stock = This product is no longer available, or we are waiting for a confirmed date for when new stock will arrive.

We reserve the right to refund your purchase should stock not be available to ourselves at the time of ordering.
